You’re a Super Senior! Your great grandparents only lived to around 65, but you’ll live on average into your 80’s. That’s longer than most people in history and that makes you a Super Senior. However, it doesn’t mean you’ll live those extra years the best that you can. To live your best you need to know the best practices of aging.
The Best Practices of Aging
Do you know the best practices for aging? Surely knowing more about best practices will help you better enjoy your later years. After studying and observing the behavior of seniors for over a decade, Carmen and I have identified five master techniques used by seniors, their families, and caregivers to best deal with aging issues. All of them!
Imagine, five simple techniques that help reduce anxiety, panic, and confusion about the issues we all face as we age. Following these techniques gives your family more time for joy and limits anxiety and confusion. We call them the five Master Techniques (MTs) of aging.
These techniques are not new to you. You’ve used these techniques when raising your children, volunteering in your community, and helping your parents. But you probably never consciously defined them or readjusted them for aging issues.
CarePlanIt uses them to define the high-level framework for managing any issue you may encounter. Let’s say that again: Any issue you encounter related to aging and caregiving can be managed within these five techniques. CarePlanIt gives you a framework to manage everything.
Our best practices are different than most others. Other programs focus on engagement and try to make up for a lack of prior planning and focus on engagement.
Super Agers Know The Five Master Techniques of Aging
We call seniors who’ve mastered these activities Super Agers. Caregivers who learn them can help the seniors they care for become Super Agers. Furthermore, children of seniors can master them early and help minimize the anxiety they feel, encourage their parents to learn them, and inspire their own children.
